International Project Managment


The Bachelor Degree Program "International Project Management" imparts useful skills for international work contexts. The focus is on the following areas:

  • Project management, from application, development, implementation through to evaluation
  • Business Administration and Economics
  • Law, Mathematics, Accounting,
  • Language and Cultural Skills (e.g. German as a foreign language, English)
  • Intercultural Skills, International Relations,
  • Specific expertise in the specialization areas: Business Management and
    Information Systems and Management

Target Group

This part-time program is aimed primarily at the following group, whose native language is not German:

  • Persons with a degree from a foreign university
  • Professionals without an academic degree

With the acquisition of a recognized German university degree, our graduates upgrade their qualifications for international business activities.

Course of Studies

Outline of Course of Studies

  • Academic Degree: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
  • 210 ECTS
  • Length: 11 Semesters, part time
  • 2 Internship Semesters (9th and 10th Semester)
  • Possibility to shorten program length by crediting past experience
  • Courses in basic studies are scheduled in the evenings and on weekends, in the specialization areas also partially during the day

Specialization Areas

From the fourth semester on, you can choose between three different specialization areas:

  • Business Management
  • Information Systems and Management

Tuition Fees

Fees are charged at Bavarian universities for part-time studies (Bachelor and consecutive Master). Each semester, the basic contribution to the student union and the solidarity contribution (MW Semesterticket) are also payable. Detailed information about feed can be found here (German)


International Projects

Against the backdrop of globalization and increasing competition dynamic, international projects in companies, organizations and public authorities are becoming increasingly important. The professional planning, implementation and evaluation of projects are crucial for determining central adjustment processes and contributing to creative innovation.

Fields of Work

This program provides application-oriented knowledge and capacity-building for project management in:

  • international companies and organizations
  • international projects run by private and public service providers with interface functions.

Credit Recognition

Skills that have been acquired as part of a university degree or a professional activity can be credited with equivalence to modules in the program. For further questions please contact the academic advisor at

Admission Requirements

  • Language Requirements
    • good knowledge of English (B2 level)
    • For students whose native language is not German, active command of the German language is required (Certificate e.g. DSH Level 2 or TestDaF Level 4 in all four sub regions)

Important Dates

The Bachelor‘s degree program starts yearly in the winter semester.

Registration for the winter semester runs annually from May 2nd to July 15th.
